The MANCOMUNITAT PER A LA GESTIÓ INTEGRAL DE RESIDUS approved, on February 27, the incorporation of German Renau (on the right of the image) as the new manager of the public entity in Camp de Tarragona. Renau assumes the position after a selection process that was carried out in recent months. The new manager takes office at a time when the Tarragona energy recovery plant is immersed in a project to renew and repower the facilities, which is representing one of the largest investments in the territory.

“I am joining the Mancomunitat with enthusiasm and a firm commitment to promoting the numerous planned investments and leading the modernization that this entity needs. I will work hard to ensure that all resources are optimized and that our activity generates a positive impact on both the environment and the quality of life of all citizens of the affiliated municipalities,” declares the new manager.

German Renau (Castellón, 1978), is a Telecommunications Engineer by training, an expert in energy and sustainability and a politician.
